Gorgeous, beautiful Jackie.As he pondered, he heard the familiar sound of clogs hitting the staircase, which then shuffled to a halt.“Steven…Please…” came a whisper, he opened his eyes and looked over. And that’s when he knew. He knew she wasn’t lying, he could see it written all over her face. He had seen her lie countless times, and had seen tell the truth – and there was no trace of a lie on her.He stood up, and she walked over to him “Look, Steven, I’m sorry I hurt you so much. But I’m telling the truth, I didn’t sleep with Michael. But you hurt me too! You couldn’t tell me if you saw a future with me, you couldn’t tell me if we’d get married someday, you couldn’t tell me anything!”. She searched his eyes for some kind of answer, but as per usual, there was nothing. “Steven… I love you.”, and that’s when the levy broke. She saw it dance through his eyes, his torment and love for her. Hyde didn’t say anything for a while, he just looked at her. But before he knew it, he had pulled her into a deep hug and buried his face in her hair.“Someday Jackie… Some I’ll marry you, I promise. I just don’t know when. Now please, don’t say anymore on it”, his tone was harsh, but Jackie didn’t care, she giggled and hugged him tightly.
